Steam account Hacking

So while I was playing CS, Helms ims me and tells me to help. It turns out that this guy claims to be part of steam and says helms stole his account. The guy asked for helms name and password. Helms is kind of unsure w/ this stuff and whether it is really steam. This is important, so please help. Read the conversation to tell if fake or real.

Steam will never ask you for your password.

Neither will any other game.

They will never contact you personally to "Verify" your password.

They can easily access the data themselves.

ya i firgue that part after but the guy needed my account name and pw and he said it was stolen and w/e so i said u guys have the pw and stuff cuz u guys gave the new pw to me anyways so he said we cant mess with personal info thanks sup for the post
